The Homecoming- February 8, 2018

We hated to leave our mission but were so anxious to come home.  Getting to see dear grand children, children and friends was going to be like having a miraculously beautiful dream come true.  We kept saying, "Are we really going home?!!? Hard to believe!!!!!!!!"

We didn't know for sure who would be able to be at the Idaho Falls airport to greet us, so when we arrived and our whole family, ALL our children and ALL our grandchildren were there, it was beyond heavenly. Honestly, it was one of the sweetest moments of our lives.  There were darling signs the kids had made, party whistles, with laughter, tears and too many hugs to count. And besides that, there were wonderful, dear friends who have become like family.

Everyone stayed to participate in our ward Sacrament meeting welcome home talks that next Sunday, and the Bishop allowed us and close friends and family to meet in the chapel afterwards for an additional special moment together.  After church our dear, sweet daughter provided an open-house at her home.  Mission friends, friends from 12th ward, neighbors, friends from Mill Hollow first ward, friends from BYU-I,  and tons of family all gathered to rejoice in sweet togetherness.

We will never forget these wonderful, tender moments!
